CastLantern helps you discover movies and series through familiar cast. Guest discovery is free; accounts and confirmed new-season emails are optional.
What CastLantern offers
Start with one title you loved, refine actors and genres, and explore recommendations ordered by community rating. Data can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Cast importance is estimated, and the bounded search does not include every possible match.
Features, capacity, and third-party data access can change. Request limits help keep discovery available, and errors may temporarily interrupt recommendations or alerts. Use the retry controls after any indicated waiting period.
Watching and purchases
CastLantern does not stream, sell, or host films or series. External searches and clearly labeled referral links lead to independent services. Confirm the correct title, current availability, local price, trial conditions, renewal charges, and cancellation terms with that service before making a purchase or subscription.
Season notices use announced first-air dates; they are not guarantees of local streaming availability. We do not guarantee every premiere will be detected or every email delivered.
Read how watch links and referrals work. Commission arrangements do not set recommendation ratings or ordering.
Respect the service
Use the site for ordinary discovery. Do not bypass access controls or request limits, attempt to access someone else’s saved picks or private email links, send unsolicited signups, or bulk extract the provider catalogue. Do not use CastLantern to promote copyright infringement.

Your choices and contact
Signing in or selecting a loved title does not subscribe you. Email alerts require explicit consent and confirmation. Keep management links private and use the unsubscribe link when you want to stop.
